Eric Koretz is a Los Angeles based cinematographer, working globally in commercial & narrative projects. He holds an MFA in cinematography from the American Film Institute as well as an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design from Syracuse university. He began his career in documentaries, where his film, Dragonslayer, won best Cinematography and best film. His narrative features have played at many international festivals including Sundance and the Venice Film Festival, where he won the award for Best Cinematography (Bisato D’oro) for his film Mosquito State. In Television he was recently nominated for an Emmy for best cinematography for his work on the final season of the Netflix Series, Ozark. He just completed production on the Paramount series, Lioness, starring Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana.Â
Eric is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild.
